Air Culinaire Worldwide launches lifestyle menu concept in London market, enhances Paris offering with microsite

Air Culinaire Worldwide announced today, during EBAA's annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), the launch of the lifestyle menu concept for the London, England market. Featured in the menu is a next-generation approach to menu development and a focus on the quality of locally-sourced ingredients to fit clients' specific culinary mood.

“Food is an experience, not just a necessity.” said Neil Hayes, general manager, London. “With the new London lifestyle menu, you will experience the cultures and culinary delights of the boroughs of London, elevated to the highest standards. We take pride in sourcing the best seasonal produce, from the most esteemed local suppliers, creating innovative and unique dishes to give our clients the most authentic experience of London imaginable.”

Air Culinaire Worldwide has close relationships in London with a variety of high-quality locally-owned suppliers that make it possible to produce each dish on the menu with meticulous attention to quality, peak freshness of flavor and color, and ultimately the presentation of each culinary creation. Such local specialists include produce supplier, RossCo, which provides over 100 types of fresh fruit and vegetables that can be found in nearly every dish featured on the London lifestyle menu; Pope's Yard Brewery which is featured not only in the beverages available to add a special taste of London pubs to the in-flight experience but which is also used in cooking some of the featured dishes; and Stickleback Fish, a purveyor of fresh seafood which is owned-and-operated by a local family.

Local suppliers, such as these, are a key part in ensuring the clients who chose Air Culinaire Worldwide for their in-flight dining needs out of the London delivery area are presented with fresh, bright flavors that surpass the level of quality necessary to stand up to the unique in-flight dining environment.

“What sets Air Culinaire Worldwide apart from others in our space is our commitment to fresh ingredients, small batch production and the skill of the culinary artists that we have within the Air Culinaire Worldwide family,” said Steven Roberts, senior vice president of global operations. “We don't manufacture and assemble food as most do in our aviation catering; we employ culinary artistry and create the ultimate guest experience through sensory experiences built from farm to flight.”

The London lifestyle menu features a variety of dishes geared toward the lifestyles of discerning clients. Drawing inspiration from the regions of London, the categories of Classic, Cultured, Energetic, Influential and Urban are a culinary celebration of local culture.

In addition, the Paris lifestyle menu, which was the beginning of this new culinary and design focus for the company, has now been refined and released to inspire the business aviation industry. Along with this new version of the menu is the launch of the Paris lifestyle menu microsite in which clients can build and submit in-flight dining quote requests.

“Experience is an occurrence, which leaves an impression on someone,” said Frederic Juillet, general manager, Paris. “The lifestyle menu concept is designed to deliver an enjoyable and memorable experience through a food selection based on the traveler's mindset during the journey as opposed to choosing merely a food item. To extend the sense of the food degustation, we associated each lifestyle to the most relevant Paris arrondissement in order to help to explore the magic of Paris, thus creating a correlation among food, mood and neighborhood.”
