Jet Linx announces 2018 renewaal of ARGUS Platinum rating

Jet Linx, the private aviation company headquartered in Omaha, Neb. with 14 locally-operated base locations nationwide, has announced that after a meticulous audit orchestrated by the Aviation Research Group (ARGUS) at Jet Linx’s National Operations Center (NOC), the company has again been designated with the Platinum rating, the highest ARGUS rating given to FAA Part 135 operators. Since 2007, Jet Linx has achieved consecutive Platinum ratings, signifying a status of safety held only by an elite group of operators around the globe.

The ARGUS Platinum rating is awarded to operators that meet or exceed industry “best practices.” Ratings are determined after the completion of an intense assessment of operation, maintenance and safety systems by recognized industry experts. ARGUS maintains records on over 2801 charter operators. There are 523 air carriers actually rated by ARGUS, including more than 12,310 aircraft and 38,406 professional pilots validated in their CHEQ system. Currently, only 133 providers operate under the ARGUS Platinum rating.

“Jet Linx has an established culture based on Safety First. The company is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of safety in the industry for every client and every team member and on every flight,” said Kari Johnson, director of safety at Jet Linx.

Jet Linx boasts an established safety management system (SMS) developed and matured over the years, guided by industry best-practices. The system is managed by Jet Linx’s director of safety and dedicated safety managers at each of the company’s 14 base locations nationwide. Safety at Jet Linx is overseen by the company’s safety committee that meets to discuss the promotion of safety, explore potential risks and develop strategies to further a proactive approach to safety. Furthermore, Jet Linx is among very few operators to employ a safety auditor. The Jet Linx director of compliance audits and approves other charter operators, inspects all departments and reports safety concerns directly to the company president.

“The renewal of Jet Linx’s ARGUS Platinum rating reconfirms our team’s commitment and promise to provide the safest possible transportation to our valued clients,” said Jamie Walker, president and CEO for Jet Linx. “The Jet Linx brand was built upon safety and it continues to be of the utmost priority through every client experience.”
