Sixth consecutive year of growth for Air Support

With an average growth of 14.3% in 2017 based on the number of filed flight plans via its PPS Flight Planning System, Air Support has finalized its sixth consecutive year of growth. Besides a considerable increase in company staff, especially for the R&D department in Odense, the number of aircraft tails in its customer base also grew by 11%. Air Support’s portfolio of highly flexible and tailored flight planning software solutions, along with a very open attitude towards system integrations, keeps gaining attention among many operators worldwide.

CCO of Air Support, Peter Gravesen, states: “Cost-optimization on flights is still a decisive factor for many operators to stay competitive in the market, especially for those in the regional airline segment with scheduled traffic operations. Whereas our very own competitors typically offer very expensive one-stop software solutions for an entire operation, we only deal with the flight planning domain. Such specialization along with integrations to more than 50 aviation software systems, makes our solutions the most tailored and affordable on offer. Our continuous focus on innovative solutions based on market trends, mutually beneficial partnerships with many integrators combined with the tremendous work by all of our employees, creates truly invaluable business synergies.”

Air Support specializes in the provision of the PC-based flight planning software PPS Flight Planning System (PPS), including the integrated web-based briefing service CrewBriefing and a variety of valuable add-ons. Air Support is the leading European supplier of flight planning software solutions to private and commercial business aircraft operators, regional/charter/cargo/national airlines as well as military/utility operators.
