King Aerospace Commercial Corporation becomes one of only 42 companies worldwide to earn certification under new aerospace maintenance standard

Following a series of independent audits, King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC) has obtained AS9110 Rev. C certification for its FAA Repair Station (#K2CR345J) in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This achievement makes KACC one of only 42 companies worldwide to date that have complied with the revised industry quality standards.

King Aerospace's AS9110 management representative Kay Roby-Bragg stated, “We are pleased and proud that KACC is now certified to the new AS9110C standard, and we look forward to KAI (King Aerospace, Inc.) recertifying to the revised standard in January 2018.” The certification validates that KACC established, implemented and maintains a quality management system (QMS) that complies with the highest aerospace industry standards for maintenance, repair and overhaul organizations (MROs).

“We believe being certified AS9110C compliant is important, not only to our customers but to ensuring our quality management system adheres to international standards and our cornerstone principles,” commented Jarid King, president of King Aerospace. This certification provides customers with the confidence that the facility is focused on customer satisfaction, managing risk through its processes and providing a product/service that meets the highest international quality standards.

The standards are managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). The IAQG provides oversight to ensure that suppliers throughout the aerospace industry have QMSs in place to consistently provide products and services to meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. To obtain the certification, KACC demonstrated that its QMS complies with the highest aerospace industry standards including safety, quality, risk identification, organizational strategy and customer service. The rigorous process took ten months to complete.

"At KACC, we are dedicated to meeting the highest MRO standards as part of our commitment to provide customers with the highest quality maintenance, modifications, paint, and interior refurbishment services," said King.
