2Excel Engineering goes live with Rusada Envision

2Excel Engineering has deployed Envision maintenance and engineering technology platform from Rusada to manage its CAMO and MRO activities across multiple sites in the UK.

2Excel Engineering is part of the 2Excel Aviation Group, an aviation business with a diverse set of capabilities covering R&D, design, production, certification and maintenance within the oil and gas, civil and defence verticals.

Neil Hargreaves, Rusada's client services director said: “2Excel's core values are built around innovation, professionalism and exceptional aviation experience and we deliberately set out to align ourselves to their culture.”

Envision was selected by 2Excel in January 2017 and the implementation project took just six months from kick-off to go-live and included the centralisation of several previously siloed systems including stores, finance and CAMO.

Neil continued: “One of the deciding factors in Rusada being selected at the turn of the year was our commitment to delivering against an aggressive timetable and I'm delighted that both our project team and 2Excel's team collaborated successfully met the deadlines within the time-frame.”

Rusada's CEO Julian Stourton said: “2Excel is an incredibly innovative company that operates within a unique environment that presented some challenges to the joint team throughout the project implementation.”

Julian concluded “The combination of a highly-experienced customer team and the diligence of our own project team means that just six months after our first kick-off meeting, 2Excel's 150 strong workforce are already beginning to benefit from a centralised maintenance and engineering system.”
