Constant Aviation doubles ADS-B sales since this time last year

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair and overhaul with a nationwide network, announced this month that it has more than doubled its ADS-B sales since this time last year. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a looming January 1st 2020 deadline, mandating that aircraft replace radar and navigational tracking aids in favor of a more precise technology utilizing satellite signals, in turn increasing safety and efficiency of airspace.

“Constant Aviation has noticed a definitive uptick in its ADS-B upgrade sales from this time last year; approximately double. And 26% of that increase are new customers,” added Jerry Sanders, director of avionics business and development programs at Constant Aviation. “We have worked to strategically expand our capabilities, having access to STCs for more than 45 aircraft, and have conveniently expanded our nationwide presence to add two new locations in Arizona (KIWA) and Florida (KSFB). We feel that one of the definitive factors in this upswing is the excellent customer experience that Constant delivers with every event,” he concluded. “We truly make it a point to go the extra mile, every time.” The ADS-B events were completed in conjunction with maintenance events, interior refurbishments, and avionics installations [LPV, TCAS 7.1, and connectivity solutions].

The deadline for completing the mandate is less than 28 months away, and MRO availability for this maintenance event is projected to become increasingly tight.
