Duncan Aviation's aircraft sales team celebrates 25 years of providing aircraft acquisition services

Duncan Aviation's aircraft sales team is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its aircraft acquisition service.

Founded 61 years ago as an aircraft sales organization, Duncan Aviation was known for selling aircraft, many of which were inventoried through the years. In 1992, Duncan Aviation added acquisition services to the mix.

“A good friend asked me for consultation assistance in the acquisition of a business aircraft,” says J. Robert Duncan, chairman emeritas of Duncan Aviation. “He didn't know where to start. I knew there were others like him, and a new service offering was born. Today, Duncan Aviation's expert aircraft sales representatives still provide acquisition assistance for many customers, as well as aircraft consignment services and representation during pre-purchase evaluations.

“Not only did the success of the aircraft acquisition service help many new owners find the best aircraft for their needs, it introduced new users to business aviation and helped spread the word about the advantages businesses have when they have these transportation tools available when they need them,” Robert continues. “It is important for businesses and industries to try new ideas and serve the market in different ways. That's a basic formula for growth and improvement.”

Duncan Aviation is now most known for its MRO capabilities. Yet the company still has a vibrant, seven-member aircraft sales team that provides preowned aircraft sales, acquisition and consignment services. Each team member has an average of 25 years of aviation experience.
