Waypoint Partners and Swartz Aviation Group sign exclusive agreement

Waypoint Partners and Swartz Aviation Group are pleased to announce that they have signed an exclusive agreement to partner as each other's preferred provider on aircraft sales, technical consulting and operational consulting services. The agreement was signed and effective as of June 1.

Swartz Aviation Group is a business aircraft dealership firm specializing in pre-owned aircraft transactions, while Waypoint Partners provides specialized operational and technical consulting services to aircraft owners and operators. The partnership calls for Waypoint Partners to recommend Swartz Aviation to customers looking to sell their aircraft, while also referring any sales leads to the company.

“While we provide fleet planning analysis, acquisitions and pre-purchase oversight as part of our consulting services, we have not actively brokered aircraft,” said Mike Sowa, Waypoint Partners managing director. “We often help customers on much of the prep work and research to sell their aircraft, but not the actual sale. As our business has grown and matured, it makes sense for us to add this additional capability to our suite of services.”

“We started looking at who would be a good fit with us for this service,” continued Waypoint's co-founder Ken Murray. “As a dealer, Swartz Aviation has the unique capability to inventory aircraft as well as providing brokerage services. This is very powerful as it also gives clients the option to construct trade-in scenarios. In addition, we were impressed with their professionalism and stability, and their knowledge of the industry.”

“We focus primarily on aircraft sales, and while we do provide some consulting, we wanted to expand our capabilities in this area,” said John Swartz, founder and president of Swartz Aviation Group. “As we grow, we want to be able to offer our customers a one-stop solution for operating their aircraft. Our arrangement with Waypoint Partners allows us to broaden the services we offer customers.”

The partnership with Waypoint complements what Swartz Aviation already brings to its clients and expands its product offerings. Swartz Aviation will recommend and refer its customers looking for technical and operational consulting services to Waypoint Partners.

“Both companies are customer-focused and are dedicated to providing the right solution to meet our clients' needs,” Swartz added. “I am enthusiastic about our agreement and the opportunity to work together to provide customers with a comprehensive suite of aviation services.”
