Greenpoint Technologies is debuting at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, China, from 11 through to 13 April, showcasing the 787-9 award-winning Azure interior design concept in 1/20th scale (model) at booth P108.

Greenpoint design director Annika Wicklund explains, “The Azure 787-9 interior reflects the freedom of artistry, engineering and innovation. Inspiration comes from both land and sea with an emphasis on organic forms. The design elements focus on rhythm, openness and reflection. Greenpoint's design team selected indigenous materials such as ebony, fig sycamore, Karelian Burl birch and marble for the inherent natural qualities. Such materials express complex patterns, depth and movement in multiple visual directions.” The Azure interior received the Society of British International Design (SBID) Award in 2015 and the 17th Annual Northwest Design Exotic Retreats Award in February 2017.

Greenpoint delivered the world's first 787-8 V-VIP interior completion in 2016, and is on schedule to deliver a second in early 2018. Greenpoint's 787 success continues with the contract award of two additional 787 V-VIP interior completions from a confidential customer earlier this year.
