Europ Star ready to share insights on Malta at “Opportunities in Business Jets” conference

The annual “Opportunities in Business Jets” conference in Malta will take place at the Grand Hotel Excelsior throughout Wednesday, February 22. Tomislav Lang, chief operating officer of Europ Star, will also be participating in a panel on “The Business Jet Market; Are you profitable? If so, how?” at 9.30 am on Wednesday morning.

With more than 30 operators and 220 aircraft Malta is arguably Europe's business aviation hotspot. However, there are lessons to be learned.

“Operating an AOC in Malta has provided us with invaluable information and experience which is highly sought after in the market. We are very much looking forward to sharing our knowledge,” said Tomislav Lang.

“It's good to be back. Malta has historically always played an important strategic role, and I find it intriguing to see this also translate into modern-day business aviation,” said Diana Andrabi, senior vice president sales and marketing, who has spent nearly a year living on the Mediterranean island. “We are being approached by potential customers and colleagues from within and outside the European Union that want to tap into our knowledge. Malta has a lot of potential, but there are also vital things to consider. We are ready to help,”

Europ Star currently operates one aircraft under its Maltese AOC, a Beechcraft Premier 1A.

“After the success of the Corporate Jet Investor Conference in London, where Europ Star was one of the lead sponsors, I am proud to announce that in addition to Tomislav Lang's participation in the above-mentioned discussion panel, Europ Star will also be hosting a roundtable discussion with the often-overlooked subject of "What do ultra high-net-worth individuals want?"” Diana Andrabi added. “We would like to invite all potential and current partners to an open conversation.”
