Press Release
Issued by CTT Systems.
December 20, 2016
CTT Systems, the market leader of aircraft humidity control systems, has announced a Cair VIP system order for one Airbus ACJ330-200 VIP completion.
“CTT is honoured to deliver the humidification system for the entire widebody cabin to another prestigious VIP completion. This is our 85th Cair VIP order for Airbus ACJs/Boeing BBJs.”, says Peter Landquist, vice president sales and marketing of CTT Systems.
Cair humidification reduces dry air related negative health and wellbeing impact on long-haul flights by maintaining the relative humidity on ground like levels (i.e. human body and its membranes will not be exposed to quick de-hydration that otherwise is the case in an extremely dry cabin). The Cair humidification system generates a relative humidity of approx. 20%, compared to 3-5% without humidifiers. The higher humidity reduces dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases).
The humidifiers are based on evaporative cooling technology that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria and improves air quality by reducing particles in the cabin air. Cair keeps humidity in balance with Zonal Drying anti-condensation system that enables cabin humidification without any moisture related problems.
