AMAC Aerospace has announced the return to service of four aircraft after maintenance work and the return delivery of an A320 after a VIP completion project. In addition two new maintenance contracts on two Boeing B737 have been signed.

A privately owned A319 was delivered after a heavy base maintenance input. The aircraft, which was outfitted and delivered by AMAC in 2012, underwent a maintenance programme that included a C-Check. The VIP cabin was partially removed and accessed by AMAC's highly specialized engineers. The VIP aircraft was delivered on time within a challenging ground time in order to fulfill the operational requirements of the customer.

Two G450 aircraft successfully released to service

After a registration change to a new owner and operator two G450 aircraft have been released to service. AMAC's design organization covered new cabin placards and an engineering order for a new exterior paint livery. AMAC's maintenance and logistics organization fulfilled all the registration change requirements within a short downtime in order to minimize the customer's operational costs. During this registration change and defect rectification process AMAC's highly specialized Gulfstream team performed all due maintenance activities. AMAC sent the two aircraft to its selected partner for exterior painting, which is working under AMAC's quality handbook according to AMAC's standards. AMAC Aerospace is auditing all selected paint facilities and is monitoring the paint work and is further providing Part 145 maintenance activities along through the paint work (i.e. balancing of flight controls, aircraft weighing and release to service).

New maintenance contracts on two Boeing B737

AMAC Aerospace has also signed two maintenance contracts on two Boeing B737 aircraft and has delivered one B737 NG after a maintenance input. Two B737 aircraft will undergo an annual check, whereas the first aircraft will already enter the facility in the end of July, the second will be inducted in August this year at AMAC's facility in Basel, Switzerland.

Another B737 NG from a Middle East customer has been delivered on time and within budget after a C-Check in conjunction with a partial cabin removal and various aesthetical repairs. “We are pleased that our customers appreciate our high standards and our long-term business relationships that we have at AMAC Aerospace” said Mr. Alexis Ott, senior manager sales and key account, AMAC Aerospace.

Exquisite interiors and highest standards of technical equipment

AMAC Aerospace is proud to announce the return delivery of its A320 VIP completion project to a new customer. The aircraft was used as an airliner and was brought to AMAC Aerospace after it was sold to a new, private owner. The cabin was completely removed by AMAC's experts and is now decorated with the highest levels of custom furniture, decorative inlays, handmade VIP carpet, a master bedroom associated with master lavatory including two VIP lavatories and high end technical support systems. Ten new single VIP seats and four new VIP divans convertible into beds have been installed inside the cabin whereas the remaining economy class seats have been refurbished. All three VIP lavatories include a foot washer which was developed and installed by AMAC's highly skilled engineers and craftsmen. A new satcom system, a CMS (cabin management system) associated to a digital type IFE system including zoom and quad cameras have been installed in order to enable the highest standard of technical support on board of the VIP A320. Various service bulletins as for example the installation of two additional fuel tanks have been carried out within a very challenging ground time.
