Sky Valet continues expansion with opening of Malaga station

As from February 8th 2016, Malaga, one of the main airports in Spain, will take part in Sky Valet, the most extensive service network in Spain.

The new Spanish station at Malaga will also ensure an optimal level of security and customer satisfaction, committed to the IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) standard, which enhances the quality and excellence of the organisation and the services provided. Certified for EBACE 2015, Sky Valet is committed to the generalisation of the IS-BAH standard throughout its network.

The addition of this new premium station further consolidates Sky Valet's development strategy of internationalising and establishing a pan-European FBO network in flagship territories. Since April 2015, Sky Valet has offered a full range of premium ground handling services to passengers, crew members and aircraft at Madrid, Barcelona, Girona, Valencia, La Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza airports as well. Malaga is now complementing the offer for prestigious and touristic airports. These services will all be coordinated via a 24/7 operations centre based in Madrid.

Dominique Thillaud, chairman of the management board of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group and of Sky Valet, comments: "We're delighted with the addition of a new station in Malaga which fully meets the requirements of our clients and the development objectives of the Sky Valet network, broadening our expertise throughout the Spanish market”.

Michel Tohane, executive vice president of Sky Valet, states: "Sky Valet's customers can rely on professionalism at major airports, the strongholds of business aviation in Europe. This move is consistent with the strategy to develop Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group's general aviation activities, initiated in 2013 with the acquisition of the Saint-Tropez Airport.”
