Napa County Airport tower (APC) honored for excellence and safety focus

The Napa County Airport has always placed safety as the highest priority. This ongoing commitment has been formally recognized with the awarding of the 2015 Air Traffic Organizations Outstanding Air Traffic Facility Award Level 4-6. This national award recognizes the highest degree of efficiency and dedication of facility personnel in executing their daily responsibilities of expeditious air traffic movement, preservation of life and property and public service. Only three airports were recognized with this year's Outstanding Air Traffic Facility Award with Napa being the only recipient within the Level 4-6 airport category.

“The 2015 Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Award recognizes the hard work and dedication of aviation safety professionals across the country. We are not surprised the Napa FAA Tower was recognized. The Award reinforces the efforts of the Tower, the tenants and all staff members at the Napa Airport. Collectively we focus on safety for our customers who use the airport and the general public in the Napa area,” explained Martin Pehl, airport manager.

“Napa Jet Center is honored to provide FBO services to aircraft visiting Napa Airport and shares a commitment to safety as exemplified by the Napa FAA Tower. The entire team at Napa Jet Center values the excellence demonstrated day in and day out by the Napa Tower professionals,” said Mark Willey, chief executive officer, Napa Jet Center.
