Clark County Department of Aviation renews long-term commitment with World Fuel Services network

World Fuel Services and Clark County Department of Aviation in Nevada announced today that Clark County airports have renewed their fuel supply agreement as Ascent branded members of the World Fuel Services network. Clark County Department of Aviation serves Las Vegas and the surrounding area.

Following a thorough review of all business and general aviation fuel suppliers, Clark County selected Ascent and the World Fuel Services network for another three (3) years of branded fuel supply. World Fuel Services' innovative team of industry professionals has a proven track record of excellence and their FBO solutions proved advantageous over the other options.

Clark County Department of Aviation has been a valued customer of World Fuel Services for more than 20 years. Business and general aviation airports that are currently served by World Fuel Services network through the Ascent fuel brand include Henderson Executive Airport (KHND), North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT), Jean Airport (K0L7), and Overton Airport (KU08).

Henderson Executive Airport operates a premier, full service corporate aviation facility, offering an attractive, convenient and economical alternative to McCarran International Airport. Located just a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip and downtown, the airport and FBO meet the needs of most business aircraft and offer all of the services and amenities expected by discerning flight crews and their clients.

North Las Vegas Airport also offers general aviation customers a convenient and economical alternative to McCarran International Airport, but with closer access to downtown Las Vegas and the Strip. The full-service FBO offers standard services and amenities, specializing in quick turns and allowing for 24 hour self-service fueling.

Jean Airport (Sport Aviation Center) caters primarily to recreational aviation including general aviation aircraft, aerobatic aircraft, gliders, ultralights, and skydiving. Located 20 miles south of Las Vegas, the airport is popular with fly-ins and aviation enthusiasts. The airport offers fuel via a 24 hour self-service fuel island.

Overton Airport (Perkins Field) is an uncontrolled airport located minutes from Lake Mead's Overton Beach – approximately 70 miles northeast of Las Vegas. With a 4,800 foot paved runway and pilot controlled lighting, the small airport offers self-serve Avgas 100LL.

“The Clark County Department of Aviation's relationship with WFSN and its team dates back for more than two decades, and over those years I have consistently witnessed its willingness and desire to provide the best in fueling and other services to help us serve our customers at Henderson Executive, North Las Vegas, Jean and Overton airports in Southern Nevada. Whether you fly a business jet or a recreational aircraft, you can trust that a WFSN-served FBO will be given the support and programs to best meet your needs,” said Ben Czyzewski, assistant director, general aviation, Clark County Department of Aviation.

With their membership in the World Fuel Services Network and Ascent fuel branding, Clark County, Nevada airports have access to a comprehensive offering of business and general aviation FBO solutions designed to aid their ability to better serve their customers and foster their operations' continued success. These locations cater to flight operators offering Contract Fuel through World Fuel | Colt and provide an extra incentive for operators to use Contract Fuel or AVCARD by awarding FlyBuys Rewards to their customers with every purchase.
