Dassault Falcon Jet promotes Rodrigo Pesoa to senior director of sales

Dassault Falcon Jet today announced the promotion of Rodrigo Pesoa to the position of senior director of sales for Latin America.

In his new role, Pesoa will direct a regional team responsible for overseeing the development of new business in South America, Mexico, central America and the Caribbean. He was previously sales director for South America.

“Over the course of more than 15 years with the company, Rodrigo has developed an extensive knowledge of the Falcon product line and shown an outstanding ability to communicate with customers in Latin America,” said John Rosanvallon, president and ceo of Dassault Falcon Jet. “He will be a great asset in our drive to advance the Falcon brand in the region.”

Falcons are market leaders throughout Latin America, especially in Brazil, where the first Falcon was introduced nearly 40 years ago. The Falcon family enjoys the leading position of the Brazilian large cabin market. The long-range 5,950 nm Falcon 7X is the country's most widely used large cabin business jet, with 15 aircraft in service.

“Rodrigo's efforts in building good customer relationships in Brazil is a key step in boosting demand for Falcons in that country,” remarked Rosanvallon.

Pesoa joined Dassault Falcon Jet in 1999. He first worked in a sales role in Brazil before being named sales director of South America, in 2004. He holds a degree in law from Universidade Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil.
