World Fuel Services and network FBOs to celebrate innovation at S&D 2015 with some exciting surprises at World's Fair kickoff event

World Fuel Services announced today that they will be exhibiting at the 2015 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (S&D 2015) in San Jose, CA, with the World's Fair theme at their booths to celebrate aviation innovation. With the World's Fair exposition's long history of bringing innovation and fun to the masses, the theme provides a unique backdrop to showcase World Fuel Services' comprehensive business and general aviation offerings. World Fuel Services and the new co-exhibiting FBOs will fill two rows of the upcoming conference at the San Jose Convention Center from February 3 – February 6, 2015.

Notably, the Air Elite Network (row 600) will include four new Air Elite FBOs that have joined the network since last year's show and the World Fuel Services Network (WFSN) will host six new co-exhibiting FBOs (row 500). A special addition to the WFSN row is the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) booth whose sole mission is to help bring cancer patients closer to their cure. By arranging free air travel to treatment centers across the country using empty seats on corporate jets, CAN offers patients access to the best possible treatment for their specific type of cancer. Founded in 1981, CAN has coordinated more than 41,000 flights to patient treatment centers. World Fuel Services is a proud partner of CAN, helping to promote their organization throughout the business and general aviation industry.

In addition to exciting “World's Fair” themed activities, World Fuel Services has organized a special contest among their co-exhibiting FBOs in support of the NBAA Pay it Forward charity clothing drive. The contest, organized by the S&D Advisory Council, invites S&D attendees to bring clean, ready-to-wear clothing (suits, skirts, blouses, jackets or slacks) with them to the conference to be donated to a local charity. World Fuel Services will award the FBO team that brings the most items to the show with a plaque and catered lunch. Separately, World Fuel Services has donated 400 business dress shirts to the clothing drive and is awarding a gift card to their employee with the most donations.

Many schedulers and dispatchers have come to expect an atmosphere of fun and excitement from World Fuel Services when visiting S&D conferences and this year will be no departure from the established norm. Along with sponsoring both the opening and closing receptions, World Fuel Services invites show attendees to Live It Up in their exhibition rows where they will host innovation/fair themed booths designed to provide attendees with some unique entertainment during the session breaks, while informing them about the vast products and services World Fuel Services and network FBOs have to offer.
