Gulfstream Aerospace (St Louis)Press Release
Issued by Collins Aerospace - Avionics.
October 21, 2014
Jet Aviation St. Louis is the first in the industry to replace Rockwell Collins' Cabin Electronics System (CES) with its Venue system in a Global XRS – doing it simultaneously in two Globals and a CES-equipped Challenger 605, as well.
Rockwell Collins' Venue is the industry's first complete, high-definition cabin management system that upgrades and replaces the CES with the features and functionality of the most advanced home entertainment systems and executive suites.
Blake Hogge, senior manager, avionics sales, Jet Aviation St. Louis, said technicians recently began replacing the CES with the Venue in two Global XRSs simultaneously. “In fact,” he said, “we're also performing the same replacement in a Challenger 605 right now while we're working on the two Globals. That truly demonstrates our capacity to conduct these replacements with the new Venue system in any airframe ready for the upgrade.”
