StandardAero celebrates four years of next gen avionics installations

Since 2011, StandardAero has established itself as an aftermarket service leader in the installation and retrofitting of a variety of next generation avionics equipment for business aviation operators. Through its extensive OEM authorizations with the world's leading avionics manufacturers, supported by the company's in-house ODA capabilities, the company has accomplished the following milestones over the past four years:

• 44 installations of EASy II integrated cockpits (based on Honeywell Primus Epic platform) for operators of Dassault Falcon 50, 900, 2000 and 7X aircraft, Global Express aircraft and Gulfstream aircraft.

• 11 Rockwell Collins Proline 4-21 cockpit upgrades on Falcon 50 and 2000 aircraft

• 9 Honeywell Primus Elite installations on Falcon 900 aircraft

In addition, StandardAero has installed and upgraded dozens of cabin management systems on all of the aforementioned airframes since 2011.

“We have focused in the last few years on growing our avionics capabilities and providing our industry with very strong avionics support and deep technical knowledge,” said Marc McGowan, president of StandardAero Business Aviation. “In addition to our engine and airframe services, we know how important it is to meet the upcoming mandates for airspace restrictions while improving the cockpit for safety, productivity and efficiency with the latest avionics technologies.”

StandardAero provides a variety of avionics capabilities ranging from repairing a transponder to installation of the latest integrated cockpit systems. The company is factory authorized for the majority of avionics manufacturers and provides in-house engineering design, system integration and installation capabilities for all avionics needs.
